Attack of the Squirrel

I did not actually interview the person for this project, but that made it more difficult in the editing process. We had one person interview the other, but that would mean they would overlap each other and sometimes that made it difficult to cut out parts of the interview.

Having two subjects also made focusing challenging because if I tried to focus one the other would move and become out of focus.

The other challenging part of this interview was getting the footage of the squirrels. They moved around a lot and it was hard to find them and keep the camera on them long enough to get a good shot.

Although I must say, sometimes I thought they were going to attack me when they looked straight into the camera…

  1. Even though sometimes the mics didn’t work very well, I loved your video! It was so funny and creative. Good choice in actors too.

  2. It still cracks me up. They were really great actors, maybe put them in a better location so it isn’t just a wall behind them. Love the squirrels.

  3. The actors were fantastic! I loved that they had on jackets and ties and had elon coffee cups in front of them… it made it so legit.

  4. I love the idea ! Nice video of squirrels, that must have been really challenging.. so excellent job!

  5. This was such a creative idea! I love the story as its shown from POV, and the video of the squirrels.

  6. You guys were very creative with the idea of having the subjects interview each other. I was slightly confused if they friends or what the relationship between them was at first. I loved the squirrel footage you got and overall, I really enjoyed your film!

  7. You guys were very creative with the idea of having the subjects interview each other. I was slightly confused if they friends or coworkers or what the relationship between them was at first. I loved the squirrel footage you got and overall, I really enjoyed your film!

  8. Your B-Roll was amazing, you got really good footage of all the squirrels which im sure was very hard to do! Also the actors were really good and they played off of each other very well. Just one thing to watch out for would be editing out the actors laughing because at one spot Brent was very loud. But great job!

  9. I think our project turned out really well! I just wish our audio had turned out better 😦

  10. Although shot really well (the shots of the squirrels were impressive), I think the project lacked a little focus and I think a script would be a good idea for next time.

  11. I really liked this video. I think your actors did a really good job improving the whole thing. I also really liked the b-roll footage.

  12. You captured some amazing shots of those squirrels. I like that you had a variety of scenes for them as well.

  13. This was so funny and the actors really committed to their roles. The shots could have been focused a little better but you definitely made up for it with those amazing shots of the squirrels!

  14. You had some great actors and really good b-roll…which must have been difficult because those squirrels are really jumpy! There were some parts that were not as focused as others but maybe just improve that a bit..but overall great job!

  15. This interview was extremely interesting and funny. There were a few places in the movie where I wished the sound had been a little clearer, but your actors were amazing.

  16. Very funny. My favorite part was the cut to the story, and then the interruption in the very beginning.

  17. Definately funny. You did a good job of capturing those hard to film squirrels
