I now have a new found appreciation for directors. It was really difficult to get them to sit still for long enough to get them in focus. They also started to get resteless near the end of the shoot and it was difficult to make them sit down so I could get more than one shot.
I’m glad this was an assignment though because I’ve never had the chance to really work with actors before now. I am proud of how it turned out because I know how much effort and how long it took to get all the different shots.
I can’t wait to get my hands on a camera again!
I thought your movie was cute and very humorous ! I loved the flashback and the text definitely added to the understanding of the conflict ! The umbrella part was just a little silly, but overall, GOOD job!

I agree with Janae… the umbrella part was kind of out of place. The flashback worked in your favor, though.

I liked the flash back. Something we both need to work on is the footage. I always want to include as much as i can since i took the time to film it, but i guess you can’t do that.

I liked you idea. I wanted to see more locations or different shots that would make the beat down seem more realistic.

I think our project turned out pretty well! I just wish we had more variety of shots.

Good concept. Next time just work on making certain things more realistic.

Really funny storyline! I wish you had shot in different locations, but I liked the idea of your movie. The scene of the girl getting beat up was very funny (I thought the umbrella not actually hitting her was very funny), but it was a little long. Overall very nice job!

great job, good actors as well. the umbrella-beating took away from it a little, maybe try another angle for physical contact like that so that it hides it or creates an optical illusion like you really are hitting them. but good work!

I really liked your film…one part that was somewhat not believable was the umbrella attack because there wasn’t actually contact so I would try and make the shots a little more believable but I thought you did a nice job with exposure getting some neat shots.

I thought your ideas were really unique and you got some really great shots that told your story really well. I think you could have done without the fake fighting, and it was hard to tell who was talking at the beginning of the movie.

I liked the flashback scene but didn’t understand why the girls were just sitting in an empty classroom so I’d suggest putting them in a more appropriate place.

You did a great job with the flashback and the subtitles (or whatever you call the writing)! The umbrella part was a tad too unrealistic, but other than that, great job.

I thought the concept of the sunglass snatcher was a clever idea. I would have liked to see more variety in your shots. Also watch out for adding violence to your films; the umbrella part could have been more realistic.

This was a creative idea to have the two girls beat up the other and actually kill her. One thing would be to actually have them hit her or something to make it more realisitc

This is a good story, but the beat up scene needs to be a little more realistic. Otherwise good job
